Suspension fittings

Depending on designated use, suspension fittings are classified into the following types:

• blind suspension clamps for one and more wires are intended for suspension and fastening of OTL conductors and ground wires to the suspension strings;
• angle suspension clamps are used for rollout and sighting aluminum and steel-aluminum conductors on intermediate and angle-tension towers;
• multiroller strings are used for suspension of steel-aluminum conductor or ground wire to a large span intermediate towers;
• busbar support clamps are used for fastening of aluminum wires, hollow copper and aluminum wires, and aluminum tubular conductors on post insulators of busbars in outdoor switchgear of high voltage substations;
• special-purpose spacers ensure fixed air gap between conductors.
