HLG Vibration Dampers

Unified vibration dampers of the HLG type are designed to protect against vibration of uninsulated wires and lightning protection cables of overhead power lines, as well as self-supporting fiber-optic communication cables.

  Marking of vibration dampers of type GVU-P1-m1-m2-d-L-M1 indicates:

G – extinguisher;

B – vibrations;

Y – unified;

P1 - the presence of a protector;

m1 and m2 – cargo weight, m1 ≠ m2, kg;

d – diameter of the damper cable, mm;

L – length of the damper, mm;

M1 - modification of the die of the extinguisher:

1 – interval of diameters of wires (cables) from 9 to 18 mm;

2 – interval of diameters of wires (cables) from 18 to 29 mm;

3 – the interval of diameters of wires (cables) from 28 to 38 mm.

The standard supply of a vibration damper of the GVU type protector is not included and is ordered separately.
